• If you have a with-profits policy that was started with Bradford Insurance prior to 1972.
• If you have a with-profits policy that was started with Swiss Life prior to 1990 (not policies that were formerly part of the Swiss Life OB or IB Funds).

• Unit linked pensions policies that were started with Swiss Life with an option to invest in Pension With Profits Fund units.
• Final salary pension schemes which had a Growth Fund policy with Phoenix Assurance Limited prior to 1996, or a Retirement Plan policy issued by Sun Alliance prior to 1996 and which was subsequently converted to a Group unitised with-profits Pension investment.

If you have a with-profits policy started with Swiss Life in 1992 or later, or a policy started earlier with Swiss Pioneer Life, Pioneer Mutual, Blackburn Assurance, Blackburn Philanthropic, Stamford Mutual, Royal Co-operative Benefit Society, Loyal Endeavour Friendly Society, City of Birmingham Friendly Society or the National Friendly Collecting Society.
